So, as none of you know, I've been getting into World of Tanks as a means to decompress.
I am utterly lousy at it, but I'm trying my darnedest!
Anyway, here I am, struggling my way through tier 3, talking to some of my online friends -- one of which is a brony, but likely knows nothing about my stories (I don't tend to broadcast it). They're trying to convince me to buy a tier 8 premium tank, which would cost about... oh... 50 real dollars, a LOT more than I was willing to drop for a single tank.
I tell them this, and you wanna know what they do?
They gift me a premium account, along with said tier 8 premium tank, more ingame credits than I likely know what to do with, and enough gold (the real spendy bit) to buy me a whole other tier 8, a value of well over 100 dollars.
That couldn't have been cheap, and now I'm gonna be under their shoe for the rest of my life, more than likely.
Now, if I could only get them to stop putting shells into my backside. Seriously, "Blow up Mister Friendly" is like their pass time or something...
Now, back to writing Chapter 15, which shall be titled: The End of Irony.

Real nice of said friend, I accidentally got too much one night when I was drunk/drugged :Those prescription meds mind you:(damn page never....mind) and now I seem to have a T VIII TD that I barely know how to operate.
Also, maybe you'll have a sequel? This is one of my favorite fics on this site.

I'm thinking about it, but I'm also thinking about trying out a number of different projects first.
I have a couple fic ideas that seem too interesting to put down, and considering the last time that happened I wrote The Irony of Applejack... well, we'll have to see.
A sequel is basically inevitable, it's just a matter of priority at the moment.
And I get what you mean about not knowing how to drive a tank. Imagine what it's like for me to go from a little PZ III A scout and a tier 3 TD to a T34 heavy. Bit of a learning curve there

Totally understandable. I wouldn't want you to rush it; I do prefer quality v quantity. Though, judging by my wot stats one would surmise otherwise.

I'll probably end up going russian sometime, but right now I'm working on getting a Wolverine, so I'll be using that T34 to get there. There's just something about a TD with a turret that just seems wrong.

The Hellcat is an amazing tank. It does require a bit of finesse. However its speed, gun, and Ninja camo skills are just awesome.
The entire turreted US TD tree is pretty great. Especially the tier 10, the E4. Only black sheep is the T30. Great gun, depression and turret armor, but the body armor is made of paper.
1067301A sequel would be very cool, IMHO, but, if you've got other projects in mind, take care of them first, okay? A sequel to my second fave fic (sorry, but the "Harmony's Wrath" Duology(?) hold my heart as my No. 1 fave "series") is something well worth waiting for! IMHO.

Will this be the last chapter? If it is, I shall cherish its reading when it arrives, like the last piece of brownie, knowing that when it is over, something delightful will be enshrined in my memories.

I like to try to name my chapters to have multiple meanings, or at least apply to more than one thing. (Consequences, for example, applied to the consequences Applejack had to face when opening up to Rainbow, and also to the blowback that happened from rejecting Vigil's proposal, and also from the consequences of trying to use magic. Granted, I've slipped of late, but that's what I've been trying to aim for. )
So when I say The End of Irony, I'll give you a spoiler and say there's more than one way to interpret that.
