Love and Tolerance in the Fandom is Still Alive! · 3:58am Apr 24th, 2013
So I know that I recently posted a blog post in which I mentioned that I blocked a certain member of FimFiction for his frankly nasty remarks on all three stories in my Killer Rarity trilogy. Well, I felt that I acted rashly when I blocked him despite your support and, well, I unblocked him and we've sent messages back and forth were we calmed down considerably and I would like to believe that we left it off on a respectful, if not amicable note. Said user does not enjoy grimdark stories as he believes that it's too much of a disconnect from the world Equestria is a part of and I completely respect him for that and anybody who says the same about the story. He even took down a blog post he wrote bashing me, the readers, and the stories with an apology saying that even the best of us lose our cool sometimes and do things we regret. He even gave me good, constructive advice on how to fix some of the glaring problems that he sees in the original story and I took them to heart and fixed/am in the process of fixing them if I felt that I couldn't defend my reasoning.
All that to say, we have both calmed down and I think that in the end The Secret Life of Rarity ended up better for it. He did point out things that I went 'now that you mention it, I can work on that' so the story is better now.
We worked out our differences, and we've come to an amicable understanding that benefited us both, I think.
On a few separate notes, Wanderings of a Non-Brony chapter 11 should be out tonight or tomorrow so that's good.
Also, The Equestrian Critics Society is in desperate need of critics! If you feel that you can review stories and you have even a little time to help out don't hesitate to apply!

i'm glad everything turned out for the best and glad to see some actual tolerance again, not to bad-mouth anyone but the fandom in general seemed to have been lacking in tolerance recently

it's one of my two favorite serial killer fics in the fandom
the other being blade
and i read a lot of serial killer fics

I kind of don't get why people bash the whole love and tolerance. I can't say its the brony motto, but damn its still a good one.
