Now choose the 'verse. Friendship is witchcraft maybe? Xenophilia verse? Winningverse? Lunaverse?
There's loads of different fics out there with their own universes that all differ in some way, some have humans, some don't.
Point of the matter is, which would you go for?
Personally, I'd go for BCCverse, if only because it's my own, so I get to have my favorite pony characterizations.

By universes, I'm referring to a take on Equestria given as the bases of any fanfic.
Saaay, you once read a fic where the ponies were all anthro and had modern tech, or read a fic where Discord rules, or where everypony was a changeling.
It's not just specifically what I listed, just literally any universe depicted in pony fanfiction. I just listed a couple of the larger universes with a number of stories to their name since they tended to be better fleshed out.

Friendship is Witchcraft is a somewhat darker Equestria, since it uses the footage from the episodes, the canon events (Like the Royal wedding) is the same, but the context is completely different.
Pinkie Pie is a magical Gypsy, Fluttershy and Rarity are cultists trying to bring about a world destroying god, Twilight is... Well... kinda weird.
The 'fun' aspect of it, is that since it's using show footage, everything retains the upbeat cheerfulness of the show... as they sing about horrifying apocalypses, incest and burning orphanages.
Xenophilia is a world building clopfic, that focuses on the relationship between RD and a human as they deal with cultural and social differences. It uses the herd system, and is definitely an awesome universe for any males who don't mind some pony butt. (A bit more developed then they are depicted in the show, in any case.)
Lunaverse is apparently an alternate universe fic series where Luna is in control, Celestia is the evil one, and various background ponies (Like Trixie) are the element bearers. I've never read it myself, and have no interest in it, but it's popular so I listed it as an example.
Definitely the Gentlemanverse. I like that Equestria.

I would choose the canon universe, if that's allowed. If not... that's a tough one. It'd probably be a toss-up between the Friendship is Witchcraft universe, or Cynewulf's Songverse.

Well, if I were to choose, I'd pick canonverse above all. If that option is not valid, I'd go to ARTICLEverse or Xenoverse, mainly because these two are the most well characterized verses. I would, as I do right now, feel a lot weird at the prospect of fucking a small horse, but I guess that with years passing, I'd be bound to find one whom I'd be comfortable enough to try.

You don't necessarily have to f a small horse if you join those verses. But that does raise an interesting problem. Unless you join a verse already with humans you would eventually have to face a similar situation.
