We haven't had a regular old write-off for some time now, so next weekend is going back to basics: a worded prompt and a 72 hour deadline. No messy business.
In keeping with old write-off protocol, I'd like anyone even thinking of participating to post below saying so. I'll add you to the list so that there's some sense of the number of people participating.
Times, submission pages, etc. are all on the website: http://writeoff.rogerdodger.me/event/15
Good luck, everyone.
Everyone even thinking about it? Sure, that's me.
I'm up. Been a while since I've entered one and I've gotta do something.
YOU KNOW ME, ALWAYS UP FOR A FEW HORSE WORDS
I will attempt to take part.
I'll give it a shot. Sign me up.
Sounds neat, it's been over a year since I've taken part in one of these competitions. In fact it's what got me to start writing fan fics. It would be lovely to take part in one of these again. I'm in, sign me up.
I'll join in!
I'll write a story so superbly magnificent that it'll change the face of the internet!
Y'know, probably.
Sign me up.
Sounds like fun. Sign up one novice writer please!
I'll give it a shot.
Maybe this could help break some writer's block. I'll try it!
I'd be interested in submitting.
If time allows, I will participate.
ill give it a shot
I've been looking for a good kick in the ass to stop me procrastinating.
Deadlines do that for me.
Don't know how much chance I'll get to write this weekend considering my usual schedule, but I'll put my name down as a tentative anyway.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
My bus was late from uni and I've missed the deadline by half an hour because of a lack of internet connection.
5,000 words and I'm not eligible.

Aw, man. That sucks.
But hey, you've got 5,000 words there. That's more than some people can say.
Unless knighty has changed something recently, all of the tags on the write-off site work here (barring some corner cases).
Seems to work.
