Dear Princess Celestia,
Today, I am learning that pictures are pretty. And no, I am not just talking of using photograph film to be burning down houses of rebels back home, though that is being very fun as well. Great way to ward off snow.
Anyway, today, I am meeting artist. Brilliant pony, by name of Ruirik. He is showing me sketches of ponies I am recognizing. I am very much impressed, though wondering how he is knowing so many subordinates and relations.
First, we are seeing Stoikaja. Oh, I am dreaming of day I can finally toss her burnt corpse from Burning Hearth Castle, and sing lullaby for it.
Pose is very much her stance when she is trying to stomp spines or legs. And true to her life, she is having short muzzle, with jaw like stallion.
Which am I showing next? Oh, yes, I am recalling, now. This is new subordinate, from Honor Guard, though I am not meeting him yet. Name of... "Dead Reckoning", though I am told he prefer 'Deadeye'. Missing one eye. I am thinking joke is funny. Strange, though; reports are telling me he is old stallion, not like this. Perhaps I am meeting him soon, to understand.
Part of me is jealous of hat, though still it is being no match for my jacket. Also, I am thinking that is griffon feather in brim. Nice touch.
Next is my brother, Predvidenie "Foresight", pretending to look smart. If I were being at home, I would punch him on smug face for that. Playing with stocks and thinking he is so much more important than I am.
"Oh, Roscherk, look at me. I am being better than stupid Stalliongradian ponies. I am wearing fancy Canterlot jacket and expensive Bitaly scarf. And I am only drinking fancy wine." Perhaps some day, he is removing horn from rear. But my smart bit is not on any time soon.
Then we are having a mare I was almost worried to see. I was not knowing her name at time I met her, but I recall from beginning of entire fiasco. She was reason I am setting building on fire in Baltimare. Name of "Going Solo".
I am betting her coat and mare are not so pretty any more. That is what she is getting for crossing Roscherk Krovyu.
Headband is cute touch. Not bad looking mare. Too bad she was siding with Armor.
Then we are having Mentor. "The Commander", as he is being called to everypony else. What am I saying, but that I am wishing he rest in peace?
Oh, and I am forgetting one more. In case you are being lonely, Princess, I am attaching picture of me. Here is to be hoping you are missing me. I am longing to be in Canterlot again already.
In case you are wanting to be receiving pictures from excellent artist, I am remind you that name is Ruirik. You are finding him at his gallery on most days. I am hoping many ponies are going to visit him, perhaps watching his work and seeing great things he is making. Also, is having pleasant taste in music.
Now, I am shoving this down throat of dragon, so here is hope it is not arriving covered in spit.

P.S. Oh, and I am pulling this back out of dragon's throat to be remembering to say 'thank you' to Ruirik not only for art, but assisting in writing letter, so that pictures would be sent by dragon fire too. Now I am getting to shove letter down dragon throat a second time. It is good day.

Fun fact, I picked the name Ruirik when I was up one night reading random russian history on wikipedia. My OC though (the one in my profile picture) is named Hat Trick. I'd be honored if he turned up in a chapter

Yup I have all his info safely in my little blue notebook. Though that will be on the backburner for a bit, I gotta do cover art for a new story I'm publishing soonish first.

I think that's how Deadeye really lost his eye. He got drunk and tried to make out with a drunken unicorn mare. Next thing you know, eye-kebabs.
