My sources · 10:34pm Jan 18th, 2013
To all of my readers,
It has come to my attention, that several of my critics (none of you, dear reader) have been questioning my usage of the sources in my historical texts. I find this a gravely insulting accusation, that I am using less-than quality documents for my accounts, and that I leave huge gaps in my narrative. My account of the Tambelon incident is taken directly from Twilight Sparkle's notes on the subject, while my account of the Harmony Bearer's romances was lifted from Rarity's diary entries from that period- both documents that survived in the Ponyville library, until they were brought to Dream Castle'sachives, along with the rest of that towns records and archives (giving us a very clear picture of that community's history). I didn't write about their return from the Tambelon dimension because there is no surviving account of their return! Every account about the harmony bearer's later lives was destroyed in the chaos that followed the fall of Equestria, almost as if such destruction was intentional.
We know nothing of their spouses (even wither or not Booker and is friends were thier eventual spouses) or first generation children, and the accounts of their descendants only picks up about a century later. The time period from right after the Tambelon incident to Spike's slumber is a complete blank, while every other period is highly documented, but all I have to go on are Spike and Applejack's spotty memories- and again, that period is fogged over in their minds, while they have a strong memory of before and after- either that, or they don't WANT to talk, which is patently absurd. All I was able to get out of the two of them is in the accounts. Again, it as if some force wants that period forgotten. In any case, let that be my rebuttal to the critics.

About that foggy memory thing, it sounds very suspiciously like what Sombra did to the Crystal Ponies. They didn't seem, or want, to remember Sombra's regime.

It is most bizarre. As a further example, we know at some point Discord was re-imprisoned in stone, but we cannot pinpoint the exact time and place his 'reformed' personality fell away. I believe it was slightly before the Tambelon incident occured, but I am unsure. If you ask me, that trickster was faking it the whole time.
By the way, I was always curious, what happened in Ponyville when it became a 'Fun fare Village'? All I read is that ponies there suddenly acted like overgrown babies.
727683 Oh, and what I mean about the Crystal ponies having their memories of Sombra suppressed is something like this: images.wikia.com/mlp/images/3/3a/King_Sombra_eyes_flash_S3E1.png
Who knew what horrors they had to suffer under his rule?

Have you read my account of Ponyville's downfall, entitled 'Ponyville Generations: Spike's story'? The whole tragic affair is covered there.
727785 Oh sorry, I didn't read it.

I reccomend it, it's a very good read. But if not, I can send you a personal message with a summary if you wish not to read it.
727827 Ok. I think a brief summary will be ok for me for now.
