Hey, everyone. Hope you’re all well.
For my blogs, I had this idea of keeping you all up to date on the stories that I’m making, and ask for your opinions on other ideas that come to me. This is going to be split in two, since all of you are watching me for either, ‘Last of the Dragonlords: A Good Mare Goes To War’ or ‘An Expression Of Love’.
So firstly, ‘An Expression Of Love’. Not really much to say on this one. I have just finished writing Chapter 4 in its entirety and will begin the agonising process of going over it. Chapter 5 has been started, and chapter 6 is in its planning stages.
And now, ‘Last of the Dragonlords: A Good Mare Goes To War’. This has been planned out ages ago, and I have now properly begun writing chapters one, two and three at the same time, so hopefully that would shorten the length of time I need to finish this.
Also, I would like your opinions: Is this a good synopsis for the story?
Fluttershy hoped she wouldn't have to take up her weapons for a long time. She hoped she could enjoy the time she had with her friends. She hoped she could live a life of peace and prosperity. That she could watch her friends be happy, get married, have foals, and watch them grow old, and be with them until the day they die.
She could never have been more wrong.
Now, nearly two years after she learnt who and what she was, she must take up her swords Firewing and Drage Bane, and her wing blades once more as Equestria is broken apart by a ruthless, determined, and insane enemy...
Sequel to 'Last of the Dragonlords'.
Rated Teen for violence. Some strong, but again not gory.
The original was basically a smaller version of chapter one, so seeing it as too much information it was changed into this.
As for other stories that I have in mind, one in particular I would quite like to write as a single shot story.
It is a Warhammer 40,000 crossover where the Imperium of Man discovers the planet the ponies live on, and send a large fleet, full of veterans of hundreds of wars, to conquer it. The only one who can stop them is Celestia.
I wanted to write this out as a novelette like what you find in a Warhammer 40,000 book, put together with other stories based on that time and setting. Doing something based on the grim dark future would be something of a dream for me, so hopefully it will be something I will get around to finishing.

I don't know why, but I only read the first part of the synopsis as the complete and thought you asked which one was better... Don't ask.
It's a good synopsis though.
Personally, I don't know Warhammer 40,000. However I think that a cross of MLP with such batalistic and sci-fi world isn't really a good idea. Maybe it's just me, but other than Doctor Whooves adventures in Equestria (and beyond), I don't think that sci-fi and MLP mix.
As for the sequel of "The Last of Dragonlords" - that piece suggested that the enemy is insane, and I also remember the small trailer you made. It all makes me think that either Discord or something even more chaotic is going to be Fluttershy's nemezis. Can't wait!

687008 You're right that the two universes don't mix... at all. But I wanted to write it so that they could, without destroying the innocence of the show, but keeping in touch with the Warhammer series. The only way I figured is do it above the planet, with none of the mane six and just Celestia and a bit of Luna.
Also, the villain for the sequel isn't Discord, but something far more vile and insane.

But I look forward to it when I got free time. So that will be after a few updates of my stories, a new one I promised to make and school stuff.

The only comparison to something like that I have from this one Sparity (Spike x Rarity) story: http://www.fimfiction.net/story/20950/for-the-ones-we-love. The main villain there was like a sick fusion of Discord, Joker (from Batman) and Freddy Kreuger.

I'd need a prereader who tells me what I'm doing good and what could be improved within the storyline and the romance taking place. 
I've accepted a challenge from a guy, who wants me to make a sfw, 3rd person, GildaShy romance fic. It's my first attempt in writing such a fic and I don't know if it will be decent enough.
My idea is to start the storyline right after the "Griffon the brush off" episode when Gilda takes off with her angry scream hollowing in the air.
Name would be "Feathers in the Wind"
What do you think of it?
Also I'm making good progress with my ATPb story. Chapter is pulling a bit on the gum, but it's also for time reasons.

687108 Wow, a good name as well. And yeah it's okay to be nervous about doing a romance fic. When I started 'An Expression Of Love' I knew I would be throwing myself into a meat grinder, but then I thought, 'meh' and do it anyway!
I wish I could be of more help to you on what you're doing right and wrong etc in the romance, but since I'm doing my first romance story I don't have a clue what to do. But it sounds good, so I'll be watching it.
And take your time with your other story.

687237 Well I used ebony but not ivory when I played Skyrim so more of a personal choice rather.
And the dragon was dead to begin with, but controlled by another force, so it didn't suffer.

I never played Devil May Cry, and yeah there was ebony weapons in Skyrim and armour. Epic fail on my part

Sadly, dragons get it bad most of the times since they're usually portait as powerhungry, greedy and deadly monsters.... *sigh* Why is Spyro the only dragon who comes to mind who wasnt treated that way? Dragons arent nearly as evil as they're made out to be
Yeah, but in my story there is a good dragon that Fluttershy befriends (seriously) and he helps her through going what is a traumatic and terrifying change.
687341 Arhok in Drakan: Order of the Flame isn't treated that way either. He's the exception though, everyone else in the game is portrayed that way. Bar the greedy though, they're just prideful and power hungry.

690657 The original game is Pc only made in '99, so you might have to look a while. Plus it never really sold that well or got well known. Prepare to be a bit disappointed because the game ends on a massive cliffhanger you won't ever get the continuation for.
(We should stop now, this isn't the subject of anything related to the blog post. So to be fair to the author it'll be the last I post of this on this blog post.)
