New computer FTW. · 3:02pm Dec 25th, 2012
So. Instead of the dinky scrap heap I was using before it died, I now have an HP ENVY m6 Entertainment PC laptop. 8GB of RAM, and 750 GB of storage space, with Windows 8. I thought W8 was going to suck, but it is AMAZING. Your Desktop is an app, and even if you have, say, Youtube open on your desktop, you can minimize the desktop and go to a different app and still have Youtube going. It's a brilliant design. ANYWAYS, new computer means faster work, and faster work means more chapters on that new story I've got going, and that means it'll be published sooner. WOOOOOO!
nice
HE'S ALIVE!!! Oh and. gosh dang it.. you got a better computer then this SLOW LAPTOP ah well... MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Windows 8 looks like it would be terribly annoying for a computer, but great for a phone. I just don't think the world is ready for w8 yet.
How much did this cost?
I got a new computer too. Window's 8 is a confusing mother fucker.
While W8 is nice, removed it due to being used to 7. It's far too confusing, and it's not really meant for gamers like me.
You're ALIVE!
Anything is better than this netbook I use for checking up stuff and doing short writing.
This netbook has been here since September and since that day I have not been able to conquer it!
I call it the 'Depressive Comp'
Yeah, I think I'll wait for the next Windows and stick with 7 until it games don't support it anymore.
Congrats on the computer though! Was it a gift or something?
W8 is missing what makes it windows. A start menu
I currently have 1 GB of RAM and 70 GB of storage... and I get electrocuted if I touch it...

It was $699.99. Adding tax, around $710.

Actually, you know those tiles you get? Like the Windows Phone? That's the Start Menu. You have access to programs you installed on the Desktop, which can be accessed through it's respective tile, and go back to the Start menu with the Windows key. It feels smooth and well-organized.
