    Summary that never was

Hey guys, so a single update today, still struggling with getting to work on writing.

I hate it when things like this happen, but all I can do atm is keep trying to jumpstart the creativity.

    Sorry guys

I apologize for the lack of updates. Although I am writing a bit, I've found myself in a bit of a semi-writer's block. I'll get out of it, but it is delaying the stories.

    Author update!

I'm editing stuff! But also incredibly dried out of writing power atm. I'll get going again soon, but just bear with me for a bit. I'm publishing a chapter of XCOM today, then start on the daily writing (not publishing) again tomorrow morning. In the meantime, always remember:

    Remembering Koji Wada

Like every year, I like to remember the man/legend responsible for the theme songs of one of my favorite shows of all time on the anniversary of his death.

So if you were wondering about the timing for the latest Isekai chapters? There you go.

Hello everyone! This is your friendly-but-sometimes-a-hard-ass neighborhood Latias: Wanderer D!

As you might have noticed, I haven't updated many of my stories lately, and I have been drained of writing energy for at least a month. This is mainly, I think, due to stress from work. Not necessarily in a bad way, but just more demanding. I even had to drop out of my weekly D&D adventuring with some of my buddies, and that was done online!

However, my efforts have paid off and I am officially moving up in my job. Starting next month I'll be fully part of the Network department for my company and I will be able to drop a considerable load of time-eating BS.

Those of you that have been/are in the IT world will know what 1st level support is like. Password resets. Fixing moronic, non-challenging problems for users that could've solved them themselves in much less time than it took me to get a ticket, contact them, and remote in or walk to their desks. Idiot things like, accidentally clicking "work offline", or being unable to change the audio device in this day and age. Explaining why a laptop might experience problems after not restarting the machine for three months, looking at event manager, reinstalling drives... etc.

That kind of dumb thing.

Besides doing that and setting up new pcs and stuff, I was also working on the side with the Network team on a complete overhaul of our company's systems, creating heat maps, replacing APs, switches, servers, hardware firewalls, etc. And now that has been rewarded.

Without the hassle of 0/1st level crap, my workload will be much more consolidated, and less subjected to the whims of random users that just need to fix this thing that has been going on for months in their computers but they really need it fixed NOW.

I expect that this will also provide me more opportunities to dedicate myself to writing.

I ask for a bit more patience, and I thank you for having it so far!

Ooh congrats on the upgrade!

You are one of the most prolific writers I know. You deserve a rest.

May you never have to deal with another idiot wondering what happened the cup holders in the old PCs.

And to think, everyone around me asks why I turn my computers off when I'm done with them for the day.

Congrats on moving up, and good luck with getting back into the writing groove!

'Gratz on getting to lvl 3 IT expert, choosing your networking subclass, and gaining access to 2nd level abilities, and no longer needing basic lvl 0 network cantrips or 1st level tricks.

Congratulations, D!

Oh brotha I know all too well the frustrations of dum users and I've only been half a year on my job!

Congratulations on moving up :yay:
