I may be losing the spark to write at all. You see, the majority of the stories I write is from discovering something new, then hyper fixating on that thing, and eventually dreaming up the perfect idea for the perfect fic and start writing. I do so well writing all the starting chapters and stuff... And then burnout and motivation loss hits me like a freight train. It sucks too, because I love writing for you guys, and I'm thankful for all the support you gave me, but I feel like if I just up and quit on you that I have failed both y'all and myself. Cause like, an unfinished story on this site SUCKS because it leaves you wanting more but there is none. But, this doesn't mean I'm quitting, no siree, I'm just... Taking it slow. I'm worried if I start focusing on writing I'll blow a gasket and fail to focus on other things. But hey, just know that I'm thankful for all the support you've given me, and I ain't giving up, cause I didn't hear no damn bell.
Alright, enough moody shite, have a meme. And I'll see yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall later.
Geez, it happens.
And I didn't even start my own writing career on my own potential story ideas.
We can wait for a chapter. You can relax, you aren't failing anyone
Have a good day
It might be burnout. I would talk with somebody more experienced than I though
Dude, stop stretching stories beyond your desire to write them. Try short stories and one offs.
That happens to me a lot when I try to write something. Don’t worry just take your time, there's no need to rush. You’ll know how to continue those stories eventually. And lastly, don't worry you aren’t losing your spark for writing just yet.
