What was your childhood game? · 9:57am May 1st
For me, the first game that comes to mind is Jak and Daxter, I had the first 2 games and never beat the 2nd one due to the disk being damaged.
To day I bought the first 2 games on ps5 and I can't remember the last time I got hit with so much nostalgia.
So what was your childhood game?
Star fox adventures and gears of War
Final Fantasy 2 (Final Fantasy 4 in the full series) for SNES as a hand-me-down from my older brother. I played the hell out of that cartridge.
The original Roller Coaster Tycoon.
Commander Keen.
It was great when I went to a friend's place to play it - his family computer actually has a sound blaster!
And 4 megabytes of ram.
Mine just has the PC speaker. And only 2 megabytes of ram.
Tony Hawk Underground 2
Tekken 2 and Megaman 8.
Pokemon Diamonds and Pearls and black and white.
I got 2 FF9 and Chocobo's Dungeon 2
Many quests about SpongeBob, TES 3: Morrowind, DMS 4, Resident Evil 4, Painkiller, Warhammer 40K DoW: Dark Crusade, Surf's Up, Horns and hooves (I don’t remember exactly what the game is called). Well, all sorts of little office games, and other games, but these are the ones in which I spent the most time
And the first game was either Prince of Persia, or a super old quest about a fish
My childhood games were:
Cluefinders 3rd Grade Mystery of Mathra
Math Missions the Amazing Arcade Adventure
Putt-Putt Travels Through Time
Zoombinis Island Odyssey
Scooby-Doo Case File #1 the Glowing Bug Man
All those were never ported outside of the PC, at least to my knowledge.
Skylanders with my little brother, or Blackops 2 with my older brother
