Maybe just dedicate a chapter to spike gaining a pony form?

There's a lot you could do with that

He could hang out with twilight and her friends as ponies

The Omnitrix turns the user into the absolute peak of whatever species they're turning into
So spike would be an alicorn
And you don't have to worry about him being overpowered, alicorns aren't that strong in the show either
As for his powers as a pony?
The Omnitrix gives the user some basic instincts every time they transform, so they don't have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out each form

So pony spike would probably be able to walk, fly and shoot energy beams without much issue
Casting spells is probably gonna need study
