WHOOO!! :yay: :pinkiehappy:

May 25th! Mark your calendars, people!

(Also, I swear, I think I recognized Hellgrammite and Metallo among the villains popping up here too, maybe. The big guy with the robotic arms makes me think Metallo, and the green-and-yellow insect-looking guy... Hellgrammite?)

Not sure about that being Metallo, considering he doesn't seem to have a Kryptonite power source. The other thing looks kinda like a Parademon.

It could well be a Parademon, though that does make me curious. We're already talking Brainiac and the idea of a Kryptonian empire, which makes me wonder just how you can balance Darkseid / Apokolips on top of that. But well, we'll see, I guess.

As for the guy who may or may not be Metallo... just because it's not immediately visible right now, is all I'm saying. Who knows, maybe it'll come into play later on. Like if he winds up going for the full cyborg conversion, again IF this is the real Metallo.

Good question. I mean dealing with Brainiac AND Zod at the same time is going to be more than hard enough (and they would individually be more than worthy of being the Big Bads of Season 2), much less both of them at once. It would probably be better to save Darkseid for the Big Bad of Season 3 with Season 3 being the Brave and the Bold/DC Comics Presents season (there was a series called "DC Comics Presents" in the late-1970s until the mid-1980s that was essentially Superman's answer to the Brave and the Bold series) with each of the first seven episodes in that season having Superman teaming up with a different fellow hero before the three part season finale that would lead to the formation of the Justice League by having all seven of the previously shown fellow heroes returning for another team-up.

Of course, if it IS a Parademon, it will probably be saved for a future season set-up cameo in the Season Finale. ESPECIALLY if it turned out that Brainiac and Zod were BOTH working for Darkseid.

Then again, this is just my imagination running away with me and I admit that any and all of my guesses could be wrong.

To be fair, the Metalo of the early-1940s (only one l unlike the late-1950s) wasn't a Kryptonite powered cyborg - he was a criminal scientist who used a strength-enhancing formula and a suit made from a super-strong metal (both of which he discovered himself) to make himself a physical match for Superman (Superman was far less powerful in the early-1940s than he is now).

That's...huh, that's actually a good point. Wonder if that might be what they're going for. The guy does have kind of a military style haircut, which is another one of Metallo's origins, maybe they're merging the two.
