Bleeerrrrrgghhhhhh!
You heard me. Bleeerrrrrgghhhhhh!
No, I’m not horribly ill; I just haven’t been able to focus lately, and I’ve felt rather bleh™, so my slowness has compounded on itself. I’m about 3,000 words into the complete rewrite of Chapter 7, which will most likely be around 8,000-10,000 words completed. I’m tempted to just edit it to have the original version again until I’ve finished it, just so you new people can have something to fill in the blanks before Chapter 8, but then you would see the awful and ill-conceived nonsense.

Seriously, Super Duper Major Turbo Spoilers:
The Kekalo group alluded to previously shows up after Smol Protagonist and company land in Bellenast, they ambush Blitz and Ivy, and Crystal and her friends are caught in middle of collateral damage. Crystal is mortally wounded trying to fight the ponies fighting her friends, when she really ought to have just stayed out of the way, instead. She is taken to the Arcottio Memorial Hospital, stabilized, and given the Impelled Metamorphosis Potion (yes, they have some of it in Bellenast; that will be explained later). Chapter 8 begins when she has woken up, many hours after the IMP transformation has completed.
So, essentially the same as it was before, but minus a lot of unnecessary Stuff and poorly executed Things.
Tell you what: If a whole three readers comment here that they want to read the original version until I can finish the rewrite, I will post it again.
