Genfic is not gonna happen. That's pretty much the stance the Admins and Knighty have taken. I'm also not trying to censor anyone, but stating that this site was made for MLP fiction. If genfic would ever be allowed, how would the site be any different from Fanfiction.net wth an MLP skin and a different UI?
Plus, people have raised this request before, and been denied every single time as far as I know.

Not to stop original stories but being allowed to write MLP stories the way we want them to be.

Hi, not-chat-mod here. I won't presume to speak on behalf of site staff or really anyone else who has the power to write the rules, but I do think of myself as a reader of the rules, so hopefully I can help.
This rule seems to be at issue here:
Now, I'm gonna be honest, I thought this was pretty clear. You're not allowed to post stories you did not write, either in their entirety or adapted, novelized, and ponified to fit an MLP tag. And yet crossovers are allowed, sometimes even with a lot of parallels to the original works. Evidently some amount of originality is required to separate the allowed stories from the disallowed ones, and it is the unenviable job of the site mods to judge on that amount.
I don't know anything about Ninjago, but I'd say using transcripts as the basis of your story with "some originality" doesn't cut it. Maybe come up with your own stuff, like everybody else? Maybe? Oh well.
