Heyo, folks. Just wanted to let you know that the next Eros chapter is now with prereaders. Weighing in at 10,000 words, it's actually a little light on sex after the initial section, but as the reason involves some character development and worldbuilding, hopefully you won't mind too much. But that's not the only thing I wanted to mention.

First, when the next chapter posts, you will see not one but three new chapters published. Only the last one will be new content; the other two will be the previous chapter broken up into three. The reason is that I decided that posting a huge 19,000-word chapter to start a new story arc was a mistake. It's a turn-off to new readers, and way out of line considering the size of chapters released previously. I don't mind ending story arcs with big climactic chapters, but I think it's generally a mistake to start with them. So apologies for that.

Second, returning Eros reader Kevin Lee told me that my chapter numbering system on it was confusing. He suggested that instead, I use a notation like 38-A, 38-B, 38-C, etc where the number indicates what chapter in the main story this takes place after, so you know instantly where this happens in the main story.

It's a very good suggestion, so that's what I'm going to do. You'll see that change made as well when the new chapter goes live, if not before. Best guess on when the new chapter goes live is probably Friday night or Saturday. Or even my favorite release day of Thursday night if prereads come in fast enough. Guess we'll see!

After this, I'll probably go back to working on Midnight Rising, since I really want to fix the last chapter and start working on the next one. I'll work on C&C when I need a break from clop, since I don't intend to have much of it there for at least the next couple chapters.
