I'm still feeling livid · 11:33pm January 15th
Here is why, I nearly got hit by an inattentive drive in a full sized pick up truck.
Now, I am fine, physically, mentally, not so much. I am actually livid, not angry, livid. At the time of this posting it's been nearly four and half hours since this inattentive idiot, who should not have a driver's license, nearly hit me.
It was close people. I mean I could checked my reflection in the driver's side window close. If it wasn't tinted well beyond what is probably legal in the state of Nevada.
And it was against the crossing signal too, because of course it was. 🤦♀️
There is a bit of a funny part of this "they nearly damaged/killed me" scenario though.
The driver slowly pulled away at first, and then took off like a bat out of hell. Like I was going to Terminator chase them down the road and go all T-1000 on them.
I swear people, there are people that just should not have driver's licenses. They just don't pay attention, or bother to actually learn, let alone observe the rule of the road.
Keep your head on a swivel when you're out walking around everyone. Because most drivers just won't watch out for you, even though they are obligated to so.
I had a dumbass run a stop sign and T-bone me years ago. Turns out he was in a company vehicle with his young son in the truck, which was a big no-no. Had I had a cooler head at the time, I would have called his work place to report him, but the arriving cop's ruling of "no fault" because we moved the vehicles to get out of traffic pissed me off even more.
Will never move my vehicles again and will call the company to report the accident if any company vehicle hits me ever again.

Yeah, you should have called the company that idiot worked for and told them what happened. That way he might have leaned something from his dumbassery.
Just remember what I said if you're on foot. at any time. It really is best to treat it like you're more or less in warzone because these drivers really don't pay any head when you're on foot, or on a bike.
Hell, yours is case of not paying attention to other freaking cars on the road.
There is just way too much of this.
