Late November Notice · 9:00am Nov 26th, 2023
Hey folks! I thought I'd drop you a line by blog post before sending myself to bed.
Starting off on the lightest note: I hope you folks have had a pleasant Halloween, a pleasant Thanksgiving, and soon enough, will have a pleasant Christmas! May it be bright as the population of Equestria!
Now, on to an explanation of sorts. I didn't work on The End of an Era throughout all of October, and there's a reason for that. Besides doing my rewatch of Friendship is Magic Season 8, I was also doing a certain drawing challenge, where I did a single picture every single day until the end of October. I'm pretty happy with all I did in that time, getting my drawing exercise and experimenting with art angles I wasn't used to. If any of you are interested, I could show off my work one of these days. Or not; it doesn't really matter either way, I suppose.
I'm glad to finally having Chapter 14 (Part 4 - Chapter 2) out for all of you to enjoy, as it had a sequence I was extremely eager to do ever since my earlier days of work on the rewrite story project. Plus, with another part of done, the closer we are to the actual endgame, which I hope will be as spectacular of a finish as I've been picturing in my head for the last past two years.
But, as I stated in a past blog post, I wanted to continue my Friendship is Magic rewatch. So, up next, before I get to Chapters 15 and 16 (Part 4 - Chapters 3 and 4), as well as the epilogue chapter, I am going to finish that project I began in early 2022 with Season 9, and the last two Equestria Girls. Which will mean... it's right there. Just 23 more episodes of the show to check off before... oh boy... I rewatch... the original episode, on which The End of an Era is based off of. After four years in a world where Friendship is Magic has ended... and two years of working on a rewrite of it... The Ending of the End is right there... waiting for me to see it again.
Uh oh.
Well, in any case, nighty night!
Here be Stache Hand the Clutcher, out and about!
Next year will be the five-year anniversary of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic's series finale! Can you believe it?

Indeed. Time's flown so fast since the show ended. The finale wasn't even two yet when I started my rewrite. It's impact can still be felt to this day, and though Friendship is Magic no longer runs, the fans' love letters persist.
