Hey, everypony! So I have a couple quick updates to share involving the Misty Saga that you might want to stick around to read. So…I completely forgot to tell you guys this before as I was in the middle of transitioning the Official Generation Five Site to me and was too busy to make an update like this, but on Thursday, none other than Faolan Cortez himself commented on The Fall of Opaline!! Yes, the man, the myth, the legend himself commented on the story! Honestly, I can’t believe this! I had no idea he had a Fimfiction account, but the fact that he noticed the Misty Saga is absolutely incredible. It really made my day. I made sure to follow his account the moment I found out he had one. Upon him mentioning that the story deserves an adaptation, I basically told him that he could do whatever he wants with it since I’m aware that he does fanfiction readings sometimes. You know, special idol privileges and all. But yay! Senpai noticed me, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! [cue starstruck Twilight face].
That’s not the only update I have to share. Part 1 of Redeemed is finished and locked in once more and I am currently working hard on Part 2, which is why I haven’t gotten to reviewing the latest Tell Your Tale episode yet. And with Part 2 looking to be done in about 5 or 6 days (providing that each day, I get a chunk of it done), I have a new release date in sight. Brace yourselves, this is very ambitious and probably the wackiest idea I’ve come up with so far.
Redeemed shall release one day before “Secrets of Starlight!”
Yes, you heard that correctly. I am directly targeting Hasbro’s release window in order to get the maximum engagement possible on the story! How else could I show how hyped I am for the final special than to release my finale near the exact same day? Another reason why I decided this was because I feel like it’s the perfect time to do so. With Make Your Mark presumably coming to a close, this really signifies the end of an era and with this series having followed the show for the longest time, I feel like it’s the right time to end it. So you will guys have two perfectly timed finales! Which one will be the superior ending? That’s for you guys to decide and I happily invite comparisons between the two once both are released. As I said before, Redeemed will be bringing the story that began with Worthless full circle and I’m pulling out all the stops to make sure it’s as epic and beautiful as it can possibly be. Now both parts won’t be released all at once. I learned the hard way with Purpose that releasing the whole story at once kinda hurts engagement and it’s much better to release each chapter one at a time as I did for The Fall of Opaline. So here’s the current release schedule. Save the date!

I’m giving the time between each chapter a two day interval to allow for the most comment engagement possible and to build suspense between releases. The Saga will end on that day. Are you ready? Nah, just kidding. If anything, I'm really excited for this! Since I know stuff, I can't wait to see it applied already! I know tears are gonna be dropped, so let's see how much I'm gonna cry once this thing is out. As long as Sunny, Misty and Pipp end well, I'll be well too.
