Bad Dragon

I write so that one day I may finally stop writing and be free, but these damn new ideas keep finding ways into my brain. I need to write more to vent them out!

My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale 🦄 - Episode 66 - Friday Night Food Fight · 8:34pm Nov 9th, 2023

No! Not this again! Why is Misty on the thumbnail? This is My Little Pony, not My Little Misty, FFS!
Yes! Ponies finally recognize Misty's true nature and are killing her. Yes!
I didn't understand a single word that bush pony said.
No, no, ponies; hide all these phallic objects, you're going to get me banned again!
Izzy kills Misty with a finishing move. Uselessality!
Wait, this happens every Friday? I don't want to know what happens on Mondays.
Izzy and Misty dance tango.
Spoiled food? None of the food they threw seemed spoiled.
Then again, Earth ponies can just grow new food in 10 seconds flat.
They save themselves from trash food by jumping into trash food.
Misty being a naysayer like always.
Izzy is Pinkie Pie. 'Cause pies...
What I want to see is her dad smashing a pie into her face for being so ungrateful all the time.
Misty's stupidity claims another victim.
Wait, so Misty was evil even when she was just a little filly? Everything makes so much more sense now.
Misty embraces the evil within.
"Hasta la vista, pony," says the evil terminator.
Plants grow in 10 seconds flat.

Lesson of the day: Work hard to accomplish nothing!

Izzy: All the week's food that's old and rotten gets saved up and put to good use in the best unicorn tradition!

...there's so much wrong here. First off, it's wasting food. It may be rotten, but it kinda feels like you're encouraging the idea of wasting food as one might intentionally spoil their food for this. Second, you're painting the entire forest in smelly and moldy matter that'll irritate the nose, health, and ecosystem.

*Rotten food dissolves and sprouts multiple stems.*

...BULLS:yay:T!!!
I know there are seeds that can survive through the digestive track of animals to grow farther from home, but this magic seems too unnatural, like a higher force was sculpting the world to be convenient for sentient creatures.

Misty: Hang on. Are you telling me I started this tradition back when I was a filly?

:facehoof: ...of course she did. Let's also turn a blind eye to the fact that magic was absent during her 'trendsetter' years, it might lead one to question how it cleans itself up. If 'Smart House' can pull this misdirection with camera angles, we can do it with the forgetting curve.

A character used to provide context for the audience by learning along side them, is there a name for that? You know, like how a farm boy goes to the city and discovers the world they never knew along with the reader, or pretty much the entire reason people resort to isekai so they can get to the action and main meat of the story.

Whatever it is, Misty is a good example of it as her isolation from society would be an excuse to explain things for the audience. It's easy story telling... but man, does the method ever center the informed character.

If only they used Misty that way, but they do the exact opposite. Misty always forces her own way, never adapts and everybody shovers her with underserved love.
