Well, Extra Life 2023 is in just under three weeks, and I've spent most of today practicing the games I'm going to marathon, as well as finalizing my food and drinks.
I intend to continue my soda fast (110 days and counting!), so I'll be doing water and if I need caffeine, cold brew coffee. Snack-wise, I'm planning on bananas (potassium) and dark chocolate (again, for the small amount of caffeine).
Once again, Game Day falls on the end of Daylight Savings Time, so if I go the full 8am-8am (unlikely), that will be 25 hours. But last year, I understandably lost the last of my audience at around 4-5am.
I'm also going to be brutally honest with myself, and say that I am not expecting to hit my goal of $1000 this year. Money has gotten considerably tighter on my end, so I have to assume that it has for most others as well.
Anyways, moving on to the games! Last year was all Halo. The theme this year is 2D platforming.
Sonic Delta: Reloaded
Sonic Delta is a fanhack game that has been undergoing continuous development. It crams Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Knuckles into one continuous game and scoring system. It also includes some cutting-floor content for Sonic 2, including whole levels. I'm planning for this to take around five hours.
Sonic For Girls Freedom Planet
Next up, we have what started as a Sonic fangame, but then spun off with a Kickstarter campaign to become its own IP. I'll be playing the Adventure Mode as Lilac, so that means all cutscenes and dialogue. I'm expecting this to take about four hours.
Sonic For Lesbians Freedom Planet 2
Right after that, I'll be heading right into the much longer sequel. Adventure Mode again, and this will likely be the longest game of the stream, coming in at around eight hours.

... Can you blame me for thinking that Congress did away with the switch back from DST last year? Fuck's sake, even when it's unanimous, Congress can't do shit.
Good lineup. Probably won't tear me away from the stream I normally watch, but I'm good for a donation. Shit got more expensive this year, but I also got a sizable wage hike, so it evens out.
Sonic for Girls and Sonic for Lesbians? I mean sure, FP2 took so long to come out that any actual girls who got into the first game when it came out are old enough to ask that question about themselves (And I am definitely too old and too guy to bring that up without it being creepy).
That aside, exactly how many FP shipfics are you planning, and how many are M rated?

I have two stories in the planning phase; one concerning Crown Prince Dail in the closing events of FP1, and a sequel to Our Best Selves, and that will certainly be a ship fic, but it'll be Teen, so mushy, cute, romantic, but nothing explicit.
