Amen to that. I’ll never forget the moment I first watched A New Generation and fell in love with it. And now my hype levels are over the moon for “Secrets of Starlight.” How far we’ve come in just 2-3 years.
Despite the rough moments it's had within just 2 years I'm curious to know what else this show has in store for the future!!!!!

I feel old knowing it's been 2 years now since A New Generation came out on Netflix. I still remember me and so many others in The Writers' Group staying up late in the night until we all saw the movie drop. No joke. It was insane, and I enjoyed every minute of it!
I hope we get to enjoy more of G5 in the future.
The series started off rough, but it least it has been improving.

I wouldn't say the rest has been pretty good. There's been a steady improvement since Chapter 1 (especially with how hit or miss TYT was), with some pitfalls along the way (pretty sure I said something along the lines of Winter Wishday being undercooked).
I would also point out that for good or ill, much of our thoughts about G5 tend to dwell on the characters, the world, and the substance of the storylines. As far as villains/antagonists go, Sprout was good, Posey was okay, and Opaline... you know, it's funny. All the issues we have with her, I'm amazed we've been able to look at her in a vacuum for the most part. On rare occasion, I'll compare her to some of the G4 villains and think, "How did Twilight have trouble with you?"
How excellent that I logged in just in time for this comment. Happy anniversary to G5! We stay for more stories to tell and more friendships to be made!
Oh and I actually haven't seen the latest episodes yet because of the lack of time and our translation team taking their sweet time over here. Bound to get to it after the last days of school finishes.
