Okay, okay! I hear ya! Let’s do a quick rundown on what’s been going on!
Remant:
Hoooo-boy, this is a big one. This upcoming chapter has been giving me hell. I’ve rewritten it dozens of times, and I’ve just now gotten the last custom art piece that’ll be in the chapter. It’s going to be arguably the longest chapter thus far, and effectively showing what happens in it has been incredibly hard. It is easily the hardest chapter I’ve ever had to write for a fic. I can’t say when it’ll be done, but hopefully sometime before October.
King’s Harmony:
Short and sweet of it, I’m burnt out on a story for the first time ever. I’ve just had very little urge to work on it lately, and being so it’s been slow. It’s weird cause I love the fic and I’ve always had a blast working on it, but for some reason I’m just dealing with a bit of a burnout. Rarity’s chapters are coming very soon, as in like a few days. My main issue I’ve been facing is the fact I’ve given myself a minimum word count for each Mane 6. I don’t want Rarity theoretically getting less love than Applejack for instance. I know each M6 has their diehard fans and I want to make sure each of them gets a fair amount of words and love.
Pinkie’s chapters are going to be rough, since, if you haven’t noticed, each chapter before the breaking has a build up and lots of teasing. With just Pinkie left and Dash not being allowed to partake till the finale, I have to work with just her for 2 whole chapters.
I’ll find a way.
Uncommon Practices Series:
Lyra and Bon Bon’s chapter entry is having a full art piece for the cover. This obviously means it’ll take more time, and thus, the next entry will too.
TFH Series:
Oleander is next. Oleander has this funny little guy named Fred. Fred is a fucking bloodthirsty all powerful demon god and it’s hard to figure out why he doesn’t literally obliterate Anon
TFH Milking Series:
It just came out. Gimme some time. There’s custom art for each fighter for it.
The two Sweetie Belle fics from the adult CMC series that still haven’t come out yet:
For the more vanilla, romantic series, you’re in luck. That story will be coming out in a month or so. The art piece cover is being worked on.
As for the mind control one…don’t hold out much hope. The artist behind the covers, who I support fully as their friend, has been pushing away from pony for a bit. I respect his decision, but with that it means the cover for the story isn’t going to come for a while. It’ll happen eventually, just not anytime soon likely.
That’s a slight state of the author. I moved finally and I’m getting acquainted with my new home. Budget and such means I’ll be cutting costs where I can, and thus may affect some story stuff. Working with custom art, covers, etc does get very troublesome at times, but I always want to deliver the absolute best for you guys. Being so, I may consider opening a patreon in the near future. Not sure if there’d be interest, but the extra support would mean I get more work out for you all.

told you before, you really shouldn't do the minimum word counts. less is more, especially in this medium. if you're worried about lower word counts signalling less love for the character, don't. love for the character in writing shines via the quality of the words, not their quantity.
its more enjoyable to read 4000 words of passionately written high-quality writing that paints the images and emotions than it is to read an extra 6000 words of unpassionate fluff that was only added on out of obligation.
I can’t claim to know how burnout works even though I go through it myself, but I do know it sucks. I hope you’re able to work through it and feel better soon.

Just a question.. Sorry if this is stupid, but do you have plans for a sequel to Lock and Seed?
It sucks (as a reader) to hear about the MC Sweetie Belle cover being the major hold-up. As a person, it's perfectly understandable, and I wish'em well and hopefully, the next thing they move onto captures their passion just as well.
Either way, take your time, you do great stuff, and more than anything thanks for letting us know what's up.

As Moonatik said, don't concern yourself with word count. That's a trap I find myself falling into quite often, and as a fellow sufferer of OCD I can relate. You may have noticed, but just about all my chapters' word counts end in either a zero or a five. THAT'S the OCD, and it's really hard to break, but not impossible.
Thanks for the update, and I'm particularly looking forward to more of KH! Even so, I'm like King Haggard: "I can wait..."

Not that… I’m exactly in a position, to be able to complain about long wait times between chapter uploads, anyway…
After going over a year of just grinding nonstop, you’re bound to run into burnout. I have a friend who does YouTube and for the first year he did the same thing you did. Went a bit too hard to get some traction and by the time he reached a full year, he was more burnout than ever, plus, he was constantly doing several projects all at once that it took a toll on his mental state.
Looking back, he’s told me that if he could redo his first year, he would make it to where he didn’t try to fulfill this sense of wanting to pump out content at the expense of his health.
In other words, take your time. You already have done a lot of writing that it’s okay we go without anything from you for quite a while. Mental health is above all more important than cranking out something that isn’t too important. Use this downtime to recharge and reconstruct how you want to do things. No need to constantly pump out stories when it’ll damage your health; focus on yourself first and foremost.
