Tearing away from the norm

Okay, no, before you start, no, I wasn't distracted by Pony Town this whole time.

Anyway, that wasn't the only reason this took so long. This chapter took a lot of hammering out to get it right. I had backstories to flesh out, focus on someone other than Meteorite (?!?! b-but this is her story! how dare these... these other OCs demand attention) and um... hm... I think something important was happening during this chapter, but gosh dang it, I guess our focus was elsewhere at the time. Oh well.

Oh, and um, if by some chance you remember Rose being named Roseluck back in A Second Chance, nope, no, you're wrong, it's false, it never happened, it was a fabrication, we made it up, not a chance.
