    First off, I'm making a little progress on finding a new place. I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I'm pre-approved for a mortgage, and now I'm talking to realtors. If I'm lucky, by the end of this summer, I'll have found a place and moved into it.

I'd have enjoyed it a lot more if I didn't have so many people around me setting off fireworks...and shooting off their guns.

Right now, I'm just hoping that I can keep my word. Work's looking more than a little crazy at the moment.

Good grief...

I know that there could be undue chaos on that holiday because of uncontrolled fireworks, but what you mentioned about guns...

I know it's a childish-sounding thing to say, but I really hope no one got hurt.

I hope also that craziness at your job dies down soon, and that it doesn't return for a long time at least.

And thankfully, things appear to be easing up to more sensible levels, so Saturday seems likely for the epilogue's release.
