Firstly, I now know what burnout feel like......
To be honest, I haven't made any progress these past two week, a single chapter that I wrote.... feel boring and bland.
I know where I want this story to go, but I cannot implemented it into words properly.
So it's possible that I might not be able to keep up a chapter per week soon....
Secondly, armstone.
To made it more natural, I scraped a whole drama arc into "return of armstone", which I think logically, made more sense.
But would it be fun to read? That's another thing entirely......
the drama... will be replace with at least a fight scene
I've finished writing that thing already, now I'm writing the chapter before that, trying to make that action scene happened as natural as possible...
Yep, I worked backward from fight scene, that's how much I invested in it.

This is sample of scenes that I wrote about Nightmare Moon and Twilight do romance things.
As I never experienced what romance felt like, and my personal take on whole "romance" things would made majority of people questioning my sanity and moral compass.
Yep, I got banned from a few subreddits for those, that's how I know this is the case......
So I presented to you! My emulation of what romance is!
I am not sure if it is good or not. I felt they're somewhat cringe, but well.... I needed 3rd person's perspective.
It's a possibility that these will be spoiler for future episode, as they can be used as slice of life intermission that would give me enough time to move things around, and setup the next storyline.
Those who asked for shipping, please sampled them and give me feedback.
The romance, if I goes with it, will likely be really slow, as it's very draining to write these.
My bleak, undead soul truly had a very small amount of warmness to share.

Nightmare Moon levitate the spoon, floating around the room.
The wind cool the soup down from “burning the tongue off” to “safe for equine lifeforms” level.
“Wrr the friendship express is coming!” Nightmare Moon slowly levitate it toward Twilight Sparkle’s mouth.
Twilight Sparkle pouted in irritation “I am not a little filly”
“I am a grown mare”,
Nightmare Moon smiled, ignoring the protest from Twilight Sparkle’s protest and move the spoon closer.
“You have to eat so you can fatten up and regained your ample rump.” Nightmare Moon smile “Little bit on the plump side of scale”
Twilight Sparkle blushed “I-I am not plump” she protested.
“Hou…?” Nightmare Moon smirked “we can go get a measurement and compare yours to placeholder’s flank”
Twilight Sparkle trying to hide her face behind her mane, admitted the guilt by her body language alone.
“But don’t worry” Nightmare Moon continue “because that’s what make you adorable in your unique way.”
“Eep” Twilight blushed even harder, trying to buried herself away.
“Come on Twilight” Nightmare Moon, with some effort, able to turned her smirk back to smile. “Ahhh”
Twilight Sparkle reluctantly opened her muzzle and eat.

Nightmare Moon unfold her large wing, and laid it on Twilight’s back like a soft, warm giant blanket.
Twilight Sparkle nestled closer to Nightmare Moon side, her barrel felt the alicorn’s fluffy fur, and her nose felt a familiar smell.
Nightmare Moon trying and failing at holding back her chuckle of amusement as Twilight Sparkle sniffed her wingpit like a curious puppy.
“You highness, you… you’re using my shampoo?” Twilight Sparkle asked. “ Is that enough for someone like you, the history book always said you always go all out with bathing.”
“Off course Twilight” Nightmare Moon replied , her brain forming an excuse…. The moon of course! “I, uh… In the past thousand years, I came to realized that even the bathing itself was a luxury.”
Twilight Sparkle winced, to brought up such topic….
“I.. I am sorry to brought up bad memories for you, your highness” her ears drooped down in embarrassment and shame.
Twilight Sparkle suddenly felt a pressure under her muzzle .
her head gently lifted up by Nightmare Moon’s hoof.
“Come on, Twilight, it’s happened long before you even born. You have no part in this” Nightmare Moon looked at Twilight Sparkle in the eyes. “and I would be too petty to hold such thing against you“
“And besides, you’re cuter when you’re smiling“ Nightmare Moon finally added, as she fold her wing tighter against the unicorn’s barrel.

Hope things work out with writing, whether you just power through it or find a schedule that works for you. And we need to see Armstone again!
Personally I find myself taking breaks for a few days to recharge and work things out. I strongly suggest you make chapters every two weeks to start off and see how things go, and you'll likely be amazed how 'free' you'll feel.
I really like the samples! I feel like the first samples is a good starting point. Can’t wait to see the next chapter!
