Official Neo Somnambula Update #01 · 5:18am Jun 30th, 2023
So, technically this isn't the first update for Neo Somnambula, however I'm not sure if I want to go back and find all the different blogs where I talk about this story, but if I put official in the title then it truly becomes official right? 
Now that that has been established, let's get on with the update.
I've been meaning to do an update for a while, but a combination of wanting to have more content to share as well as life being busy made it complicated. I had initially intended to post this earlier this month, with the update saying that I hoped to be able to finish "Act 2" of the story and have it ready for proofreading/editing, but that's not going to happen. 
I'm close to being done, but I still have a few more scenes to go. So, maybe (but no promises) I'll have "Act 2" ready by the end of July.
To clarify, what I call "Act 2" isn't technically an act. A while back I had finished the original story and was just waiting on some cover art when a scifi story contest popped up. I thought I would try to enter it, but initially it had a word minimum, and the story didn't quite have that, so I figured I would expand upon this story (this expansion being what I now refer to as "Act 2") and try to get close to contest word maximum... Now here we are, the contest is long over, and I have since greatly exceeded the maximum word count.
The base story is around 80 pages on google docs and "Act 2" is currently at 82 pages... and it's still not done.
Now I should also state that while I hope to finish "Act 2" by the end of July, that doesn't mean the story will be finished... cuz I'm considering doing an "Act 3." 
Though I can't say for certain until I have finished "Act 2" and have had a chance to rest. Maybe read some of the stories that were submitted to the recent Cyberpunk Story Contest.
Who knows maybe I'll try to go for a Fallout: Equestria length story (probably not).
Now another thing that I have been considering is working in a few themes/elements that have been on my mind as of late. One such themes is Men's Mental Health. For those of you who aren't aware there was a time when June was Men's Mental Health Awareness month. Not sure how I would or if I will, but I figured I would bring up my thoughts on it.
However, that's not all. 
So, in my search for cover art, I have done both art trades and commissions and I'm going to share them with you all. Now I'm still not sure if I'm feeling these for the cover art, but I still think they're awesome images.

Does this mean that I am willing to write short stories in exchange for artwork... maybe. I'm still thinking about it.

I've also been considering the idea of maybe trying to make a ttrpg that takes place in the Neo Somnambula setting. Again another thing I may or may not do. Feel free to comment.

I like the drawings a lot! And well it is cool (and funny) that you're already thinking about Act 3 lol.
Note that it is an easy and quick process masking portions of the first image and change their color in any image processing software. I’ve done similar dozens of times on the artwork in Goldfur’s and my stories.
