it's not just tell your tale.... the CGI on Netflix... what matter is that g5 is the worse story-based genre of all time. it's also far worse than g3.5 story if I do remember correctly.
episode 54 is a rerun of the chapter 4 last chapter episode...
if you noticed that the netflix never had misty mane changed but in the cartoon version we see that misty had a mane change from her reform.

That was one of the reasons why I found the latest collection of episodes to be lacking, bringing the chapter down to mediocre. We can all imagine Misty stealing Sparky because that was always the plan, but seeing it played out would've taken things smoothly, and smooth was anything but the finale for the chapter. No subtlety, just the spoil of seeing the final boss as well as her location that I question how it wasn't more difficult to get to (she's like a next door neighbor).

I don't know how we managed to fall so far. They actually put in some effort for the G5 movie. But after that, Hasbro just didn't care.
All these problems that we keep seeing could have been easily corrected, but writers don't seem to care either.

The only thing I dislike so far is how they are so forgiving to misty especially hitch. I mean he just up and forgives her for taking his kid. Practically having the life drained out of him. By a knockoff villain wannabe.
Normally I’m not this honest but dang it. This is what I hate about most modern shows. They push the message. Forgive those who hurt you cause they are just as much a victim…. But this is pretty much cut and dry case of. You kidnapped a baby nearly killed it and didn’t even think it through until after you saw the baby slowly dying.
Honestly, that’s why I like some of the stories where hitch actually acts like a father. And not like every other idiot in the show. Honestly, if I was a parent and I found out someone I trusted enough not to hurt my child hurt my child…….yeah, I’d go to court. Only to challenge Jack on who gets to keep the title of the ripper.
Anyway back to this. They pretty much forgave misty all because she helped them at the last minute. For gods sake why do they choose stupid things like that. Whatever happened to actually making a character have decent character development not. Oh I’m with her cause she helped me and promised to give me a cutie mark.(honestly, CMC did everything already. Yeah, don’t get me wrong I love it when lower villains change. But what I don’t like is when the hero’s instantly forgive them. (So you’re gonna hold a grudge?) hmm, would you forgive someone for stealing your child and nearly having them killed? (What about sunset shimmer they instantly forgave her?) only after she helped repair the damage done to the school and actually made an effort to better herself. That slight character development they could’ve done better. The only one show that actually had it right with villain turning to good would have to be Ben 10. I’m referring to Kevin. If anyone knows of any other good ones let me know.
Hey, I could be wrong. But this is my opinion. And it’s they forgave misty way to soon and I’m surprised hitch didn’t try to kill her. Then again writers are not gonna do that.

I don't understand why they even let Mysty into their midst. Of all the ponies of Maretime Bay, she was the most undeserving of their company.
The writers keep forcing stuff. The forcing wouldn't be needed if they actually took an hour of their time to fix the story. I don't know why Hasbro didn't hire better writers. Hell, if they hired a random user from this site they'd probably do a better job. Fanfiction writers get downvoted to oblivion for making the nooby mistakes that the show writers are making.
