April Blog: This Message Brought To You By...

Another month, another blog post marking milestones, and this one had me unleashing an experimental story, blending ponies with a love of mine, TTPRGs. While I'm hardly the first to see that the combination is like peanut butter and chocolate (see the long-running Friendship Is Dragons webcomic, the richly-built Ponyfinder or even the officially licensed Tails of Equestria) being able to put my own sci-fi spin on it by using Ironsworn Starforged as the starting point was a lot of fun.

Speaking of Ponyfinder, the book and its 2e conversion guide are still my Ko-Fi goal. If you read and enjoyed Crystalforged and can spare a buck or two, I appreciate every tip I get. Who knows, reading about the land of Everglow may even inspire another crossover.

It also seems a good time to let you know about my relatively newly-launched blog, where I write about science fiction TTRPGs. I've started an actual play series with Ironsworn Starforged there, in fact, so if you'd like a more in-depth look at world-building and story-building with the system than what my recent blog for Crystalforged provided, feel free to check it out.

As of writing this, the session zero, where I dig into the setting truths, build the protagonist, and develop the sector that the action will be starting in, is up, and the session one will be live tomorrow. If you like stories of agents of powerful organizations going rogue after their orders conflicted with their morals, you may enjoy what I have in store.
