Always a gut punch when you lose a pet that’s been with you for years like that.
Oh fuck dude, this reminds me of how my moms a crazy cat lady and we’ve had over 30 cats in total and up to over 20 at a time but I never bothered to take pictures of them so when some of them died I don’t only not have a picture of them anymore but have forgotten some of their names. I always figured the vet would take pics of them but that was wrong. Glad to see you have something to remember that cute face.

Like your heart is torn out. I loved Fleur, but it wasn't until I saw her barely alive in the back of the car that it really hit me that in just a few hours, I wasn't ever going to see her again.
We didn't even make it to the vet in time, she died as we pulled up.
