Continuation of Avenging Nightmare · 9:02am Mar 2nd, 2023
Okay, as many of you know, I am going to continue my series, Avenging Nightmare. However, I kinda need yalls help with something. You see, Nightmare shall be assisting Thor during the time period we know as Thor: The Dark World. At this point in time, SHIELD will have set up a branch dedicated to the art of magic. There will be several soldiers learning magic, scientists studying magic, and even private sessions with Nick Fury and Tony Stark.
But my trouble is figuring out when exactly Nightmare should intervene in the events of the movie. My first thought would be after Thor leaves with Jane Foster. But then how would Nightmare travel to any of the worlds shown in that movie? Much less just getting to Asgard. So I need all of you guys to help me figure out what I should do, cause I've hit a bit of a block.

Maybe have those cops contrack the S.H.I.E.L.D and Nightmare was sent in to investigate? and with some spell, she'll tracking the bifrost all the way to asgard. since Rainbow Dash can fly faster than speed of sound, it save to assume an alicorn can fly even faster than light.

Hmm... there were issues with opening portals even before convergence started full-scale if I remember movie correctly, so maybe Nighty falls into one of those by accident/during an encounter with something/someone else? That gives the flexibility of when Nightmare goes to another world, and which world of the World Tree cluster is also up to your decision. That creates the option of a "mini-odyssey through realities" before teaming up in Asgard.
There is also the option of Jane doing something random with aether/reality stone ... something like opening portals in random places and at random times...or going Discord-lite by accident because she had taste for a coffee causing a latte tsunami (Not without reason I consider reality stone the most powerful and the most versatile of the entire set, creative user can solo all other stones at once)...
A third option might be some leftover WW2 Hydra tech that opens an unstable portal, this option also gives the flexibility of when and to where Nightmare travels.
...actually Tony also might create something like that since Avengers had contact with a powerful, knowledgeable, and more helpful magic user, and inspiration for the portal device comes from there.
If issue with plane shift is solved then perfect moment for intervention (In my opinion) is when Dark Elves ship was attacking Asgard. An ideal moment for dramatics and cementing in Odins stubborn brain that Nighty is an ally and she can kick his wrinkly plot if he does something stupid...like for example not following diplomatic procedure with foreign ruler that possibly saves his wife's life.
But that of course are only theories.
Perhaps she finds Jane's notes on the Bifrost and figures out how to access them?
Nightmare is invited to Asgard.... or is visiting?
Thor may think of calling Nightmare if anything that regards magic is involved.
