Updated ending to Canine Amore · 6:40pm Feb 8th, 2023
After getting tons of feedback for the most recent chapter of Canine Amore, namely how the ending was too abrupt, I revisited the final chapter and re-wrote the closing scene to be a more fitting conclusion to the lewd story as a whole! Including several new scenes and an expansion on the fallout of Cadance’s bestial affair.
Take a look and let me know your thoughts on the revised ending! I do hope you all like it!
I have read the new edited chapter and I have to say it was a great improvement from the previous one.
However, I do have one personal opinion that I would like to voice out - but you don't have to do it if you don't feel like it. It won't make any change to the story since I believe the current one is already good. It is the pace of the chapter progression. You started off with two 5000 word chapters, and then suddenly jump to twice the size. For most people, they probably won't mind a thing about this. But for me, I felt somewhat a disruption in the reading flow of the story.
Personally, I think you can divide this large, last chapter into 2 smaller ones, since the part where the conversation between Cadance and Professor Borealis ends at roughly half point of this whole chapter. Not only, this would make all four chapters into a similar size, but the third, smaller chapter can now devote to Cadance's perspective development while the last chapter contains all the actions and consequences. But again, this is just my opinion.
But in doing that, you might risk losing all the comments for this current last chapter. Unless, there is a way to insert a chapter between two current ones (this way, the new third chapter is inserted before the last chapter and you won't lose any comments that came with the last chapter), this idea might not be a practical one.

Yeah I think I’ll pass for the reasons you listed. Don’t know why my stories keep turning out that way, this happened with Smolder Visits Sweet Feather Sanctuary too.
But I feel like having a double length chapter is a good way of ending a story, kind of like an hour long season finale to a show.

I see. If you look at it like that, this large final chapter made sense. It is just your style.
Maybe I am one of the few who were not a fan of special large episode since I have to spend more time watching the whole thing and disrupt my other routines in the process.

Also, quick heads up: I’m working on a sequel that expands upon the little background detail of Chrysalis kidnapping Shining during the wedding and taking him into the badlands with her. It’s gonna be a lot darker than the first one.
