Can anybody recommend a good group for getting comments? A lot of the more well-known ones feel too big, and I feel like I'll get buried there. Does anyone know if this is the case?

If you ask me, this group seems promising, since I can tell that it is more small and dense to get attention.(If you already knew about it then I can only suggest sharing to more friends in servers) Not sure if big groups get stories buried there, but I am sure that if someone is still there reading things, everyone gets a turn eventually (as long as that story doesn’t scare them off, that is.)
Also, I think good stories do not need too many comments, some good praise and on-point criticism is good enough for me(even I don’t write I know that is what I would’ve want if I do.)
