(This is told through the Sci-Twi Doctor's Perspective.)
Hello, I'm the Doctor. I am a timelord from the planet Gallifrey, in the 2nd constellation of Casterberous. I am 289 years old, and today I will be telling you about the many monsters and villains I have fought during my lifetime.
The monsters that we will be talking about today are... the Cybermen.
A race of augmented beings from another world, inhuman killers, technologically upgraded warriors
The Cybermen originated from Earth's Twin-Planet Mondas; well, that was before Mondas lost its gravitational orbit with Earth, which set it on an endless journey through the cold vacuum of space.
Because of this, the Mondasians' life spans had grown surprisingly shorter, and the only way that they could survive was by putting spare parts on their bodies until they were almost completely replaced. However, there was one problem: the emotional turmoil they would suffer from seeing the metal and plastic monstrosities that they had become. How would they solve this problem? By making an emotional inhibitor that removed all emotions and replaced them with machine-like logic.
There have also been many rumors about them going around, like an alternate version of myself going back to Mondas, To the Genesis of the Cybermen, other alternate versions of myself that sealed them away in their ice-tombs on the Cyber-Planet Telos or thwarted their attempts to destroy Volga, The Planet of Gold, and a new race of Cybermen that was created on a parallel Earth in factories made by Cybus Industries.
The Cybermen only have two goals: 1) to ensure that the Cyber-Race survives by any means necessary, and 2) to find any other lifeforms and convert them to be exactly like them as Cybermen.
Their strengths, Their new metal suits count as body armor, which makes them invulnerable to conventional weaponry. The only way you'll be able to defeat them is if you fire their own weapons against them or expose their weakness to gold, which will suffocate them.
So look out and stay vigilant, because you'll never know when the Cybermen will be coming for you.

The Cybermen are my favorite Doctor Who villain. And the youtube video tribute The Steel that Bleeds from BabelColour perfectly encapsulates what I love and be horrified about them.
