I swear, my brain is actually out to get me. I've had an idea for Nitro Indigo's Species Swap Contest for months, ever since it was first hinted at, the entire thing is lined out in my head, I have notes and everything, but I just can't sit down and write it, the motivation and words just won't come! There are other things that I've been able to work on, passionate ideas that come to my head and demand to be fleshed out at 3 AM, but of course I'm stuck on the thing that I actually want to do this is the most bullshit.

Writing muscles really don't like to budge, do they? I don't think notes and ideas have ever been a reliable sign that writing's on the horizon, least not in my experience.

Somehow, there's got to be a way of tricking the words out. Like, treating it as easily as chatting or "stream-of-consciousnessing", but perhaps with more discipline? I'm always spitballing.

Wish I could help, but it's a riddle I've never completely solved either. If nothing else, I hope you have more luck than me.
