Days just left me tired like I'd never been before. It was the first time i understood why retirement is a thing.

Needless to say, as much as I enjoy writing fanfiction, it took a backseat.

So found Willy Wonka was on so watching that (things have lined up nicely lately so every weekend I've watched a Gene Wilder movie ) but during commercial there was a Honey Nut Cheerios commercial and I just had to wonder: does anyone actually use/own that honey stirrer thing?

I finally got around to watching the dub of My Hero Academia. And it has only driven my headcannon further. So let's play a game. I'm thinking of a diminutive purple character that has a bit of a lust issue and in a world of heroes often sees himself as a mess up, but when push comes to shove, he pulls through and proves even if he's not the strongest, he's still worthy of the title of hero.

I'm not very big on shipping (outside of the comedically absurd like having an immortal princess of the night fall for a certain straw hatted pirate or just having Sanji with... everypony) but I do occasionally make exception especially when I read a well written story like Fractured Sunlight and everything just sort of clicks...

Or when the canon is just begging for it.

To recap, I tried one of only twenty pancakes made at a popular restaurant, valiantly fought alongside a bunch of Japanese to capture a Rhydon in Pokemon Go, helped some French tourists order amazing yakitori, and (most importantly of all) saw One Piece: Film Gold and it kicked so much ass! Dear lord, it's been an amazing day and it's only my first full day in Osaka!

So overall thought it was a meh ep. MLP sometimes has this problem where the bulk of the episode is just going through the motions until the Main chracters of the ep figure out the right thing (this, the one where they fix up Twilight's castle, exc.)

That said, it can work sometimes like with the Saddle Row ep. Maybe it just comes down to timing and narrative flow.
