I Wrote You Guys a Poem · 3:33am May 3rd, 2014
An hour or two to devote to literary pursuits yielded me a long poem of... I don't know what you'd call it.
Quoted because I wrote it in Microsoft Word, meaning this page isn't the original source.
I finally figured out how to put this thing on my profile. This is the best thing to happen to me since Princess Celestia teleported me to Equestria so that I could romance her student and sister.

Yes, that's what I'm interested in discussing today.
All right, we've had Derpy (or Ditzy, for some) since season 1, and she has a "disability." It's one that's quite blatantly there whenever we see her now, and is something that almost everyone in the fandom is aware of.
More recently, we've had that dude with the wheels to help him walk (or trot, if you insist) in Trade Ya.
Why not? Everyone likes to know things about me, don't they?
Seriously, sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that gets bothered by specific verbiage on so many things. I guess that's what happens when I join a site that's packed to the brim with amateur writers such as myself.
Have you ever had someone straight up tell you, "This is my magnum opus?" I sure have. It's infuriating.
Whenever someone says something like, "My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro," or anything like that, in any kind of description of something, it is an admission of guilt in a court of law?
All right, I've got a serious gripe with certain story descriptions today. These are the ones that tell us how we're supposed to feel about a story. As expected from the title, these are add-ins such as "Hilarity ensues," or "Madness ensues."
Much as I dislike the idea of squelching free speech, I finally used the block button for the first time ever on this site.
So, here I am, ranting to this one girl about how CheesePie beat tatzlwurm in clopfic (a grave disappointment to the FIMFic community, if my judgmental standards are any indicator). I can't believe the gall of the writers here to take a silly pony like Cheese Sandwich and write about him OVER THE THREE-TENTACLED MONSTER.
Slurp. Seriously, that word in all its iterations is simply awful.
Slurp, slurped, slurping, slurps, slurpable... just kill me now, before I start making up words that contain "slurp" in them.
You know... the reason I have almost no blog posts is because I look at my number of followers and say, "I need more before my blog posts can have any meaningful discussion and be enjoyable for the posters therein." This isn't exactly true, but it's what the topic addresses.
