The episode "The Cutie Pox" with a bowling scene, made memorable by a completely unexpected visual reference to the Coen Brothers film, "The Big Lebowski". Everyone remember that? You ought to. People LOVE that Lebowski reference. Personally, I enjoy the Star Wars references more, because they're sometimes extremely subtle, but whatever.

Last week was my week off school. Now I'm back in school to work really, really hard.

I spent the week in Texas and Oklahoma with my dad who is an engineer down there. It was a cold April in Ontario and I was looking forward to letting myself roast alive in the Southern sun.

But the South didn't deliver. Texas (at least the panhandle and Dallas) and Oklahoma saw record low temperatures that week. It was warmer in Ontario upon my return than it had been all week in the South.

The Double Rainboom project has been in the works at least since I became aware of Friendship is Magic, which was about a year ago.
Obviously, to see such effort put into a project makes one proud to be a part of this little social group we've created, and there's always the simple pleasure of watching a new My Little Pony episode, even if it was unofficial.

When I conceived Last I had fantasies that it would become popular. Then I published the first two chapters, and it has received overwhelming approval from the community. It appears those chapters have succeeded at what they were intended to do: Give the audience a sense we are beginning a grand adventure from relatively humble beginnings.
