Last: The Canon Got Slightly Fudged · 7:34pm Apr 15th, 2013
I just saw this Equestria Daily Article, and it causes me some minor grief. Show writer Megan McCarthy tweeted that "Twilight will not outlive her friends"
From what I understand, this affects a lot of the stories on this site.
For Last, the assumption that Twilight became immortal and her friends did not was...assumed, but not so essential it couldn't be written around. Besides, all that doesn't come up until really, REALLY far down the line, so there's no immediate danger to continuing the story. Rightly so, since the events of the first season are pretty immutable at this point. What bothers me is that I won't know the true terms and conditions of Twilight's princess status until Season 4 starts up and we go into more detail. With the information given, I can't even begin to guess what the terms are. I've worked too damn hard to integrate my story with the show's canon to adorn it with the "Alternate Universe" tag. I guess my strategy for now is "steady as she goes", and try to get my story finished before Season 4 starts up.
Exams are over. I'm not publishing another chapter of "Last" until May. My goal is to write two or three big, fat chapters before May.
This was a tough term, and it sort of drained my inspiration to write. Hopefully better organization next term will help remedy that a little.
Thankfully for the sidestory (to Fallout Equestria) I am writing, Twilight met a terrible end.
Which sucks.

Question: Does one have to play Fallout to enjoy FoE?
Because I feel like half the content of this site is locked to me because I haven't read FoE.
1029874 No, you do not. Fallout Equestria is entirely its own storyline, and has nothing to do with the games.
