Alright, for those of you who are driving to Trotcon or will be driving or would have been driving or . . . wait, I just confused myself a little bit.
Anyhow, this story was in my head since I drove to Trotcon last year. And since it’s coming up straightaway, what better time to actually get it out there?
That's right, another chapter of FimFic Authors are in your bed! By none other than the talented Ocalhoun.
A N T E A N
by Perique Blend, a Thestral from Old ColonySixteen hands high he is, three of me or more
This giant like a tree he is planted, solitary in the grass,
Does his size command--it must mean
Something, it must be some sign.
Sixteen hands high he is
His head must hold up the skies.

A big thank you to totallnotabrony for drawing Silver Glow, stormwatcher.
The Admiral is at Bronycon
So if you're here, too, it's your chance to meet me!
I'll be around through some time on Monday—not sure what time yet. Some time. Unless they kick me out of the hotel, then I might have to make different arrangements.
Anyhow, if you really want to meet me, you've got a couple of options:
1: Quills and Sofas
2: Attend writers panels (I won't be speaking, but I'll be at a bunch of them).
3: PM me to find out what my hotel room is.
Today's the Fourth of July, which means in 'Murica, it's a holiday.
I like to call it 'Freedom Day,' cause it's freedom from work. In fact the only thing I did automotive-related today was put gas in my car, and I wouldn't have done that but the needle was on the wrong side of 'E.'
The hazards of working at a shop. . .
Kids, grab on to your favorite beverage now while the Admiral tells you a cautionary tale. Fair warning; this is going to contain some automotive lingo, so just follow along as well as you can.
Sometimes when I write I listen to music on YouTube.
The problem with that is that there's often an ad between songs. And I can kind of tune them out; I really just listen to the music as background noise because it drowns out the sound of crying orphans outside my hovel*
But just now I noticed a theme to those ads. . . .
This blog post has been delayed for reasons which will become clear as we go on. And it's short--there's more I want to say, but that's gotta wait for later, too, also for reasons which will become apparent later on.
