Sometimes I get story ideas when I don't expect to. Sometimes this is at night. I've got a pen and a post-it note pad on my nightstand for when this happens.

Sometimes this happens in the middle of the night. I'm usually so tired that I don't turn on the light, cause if I do that, I'll get adjusted to the light and fully wake up.

So some mornings, I'll wake up and my alarm clock is covered in post-it notes that look like this:

Howdy, so I've settled in to my job and everything and I'm going to start writing again. I've got plans for a long story (~90k words), a semi-long story (~30k words, maybe more?), and I'm tossing around ideas for short ones (perhaps a comedy, hmm...).

Still not sure if deadlines will help. I'm gonna try that out in the coming months. I think I need to stop doing writing contests, since I end up spending more time reviewing than actually writing :P

As y’all have likely seen, the The Hnng-ening sequel and the final chapter(s) of The Elegance of Morons have been posted. Both were done in a bit of a hurry. I leave for vacation on the 18th and once I get back, I have to move and start a new job. I knew that if I didn’t finish those two stories, it’d probably be another month before I was able to work on them again.

Since there was plenty of interest in a sequel, I have decided to write one. :>

Please note that this sequel will not be a clopfic. I noticed some people seemed to anticipate that, but I don’t want to write clop. The sequel might involve some platonic romance, and maybe a few innuendos, but it will not have any explicit or implied sex. It will likely be at a rating / content level close to The Hnng-ening. It will be a comedy, certainly.
