The house on the edge always taunted the little foals of Ponyville. They believed the house contained mountains of delicious, sweet candy, and plains of pastries. The only thing keeping them from this bounty was what else lurked inside.

A few new ponies in town come across the idea of playing Dungeons and Dragons. Being friends with everypony in town, Pinkie Pie greets them. When they find out they need more players, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle come over and decide to play as well. Harmless, right? Seven friends playing D&D? That's where you're wrong.
