After a disaster leaves their colony homeless, a small group of changelings searches for a new place to call home, and they happen upon Ponyville. There's just one small problem: a rival colony recently invaded Canterlot, and now changelings aren't exactly welcome in town.

Equestria has fallen. All resistance has been crushed. The land has been ravaged. They have taken over.

However, even in ponykind's darkest hour, there is a splinter of hope...
