Taking place a hundred years before the start of Twilight's friendship lessons a revolution led by an unknown alicorn arises. Saru, a pegasus hired to off Princess Celestia is caught in the middle of this power struggle as she tries to figure out what is causing this revolution in the first place. Kim, a unicorn who has become in charge of protecting the princess fights to overcome her past failures and to try and make something great out of this terrible fighting.
