When max was only an infant, his mother using the last of her magic opened a portal to an alternate dimension in order to save hers sons life from his crazed tyrant of a father, who wanted to kill him for his magic in order to be come a god, he then arrives into a equestria were he is then found and raised by princess celestia as her son.

Set before but mostly during the events of season 1 of friendship is magic, We follow Max the human as he along with his two cousins, twilight sparkle and spike the dragon, as they travel to the not so quiet small town of ponyville for the 1'000 summer sun celebration.
But when an evil mare of darkness rises form shadows, planing on taking all of equestria. it's then up to max, twilight and spike, along with a few new friends to stop this new evil from placing all of equestria into internal night. so join max and the gang as they learn the magic of friendship and make new friends and enemies along the way all the while adventure waits around every corner.

A/N Please note that this is my first story and is also set in a alternate universe of equestria were everyone is anthro, and i may make some small changes to some character arcs as well as the timeline. please also note that I'm not a very good writer or speller and may make some mistakes along the way, this is just a story i had running around my head for some time and i wanted to give it a try, i am hoping that if the 'Prologue chapters' do well i may continue this story as i do have plans for this story.
