Heroes Of Harmony - The Prologue Part 1 - Ripple between worlds - (Rewritten)
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Was all that could he heard throughout the land, as a man in black and gray armour and known by many as the dark king roared out in anger and pain. as he looked into the night sky to were the spinning vortex had gone rocketing off through, tearing a hole within the sky before disappearing all together he then clenched his teeth in pain as he held on to his arm or what remained of his right arm, as his hole arm looked to have been shredded within a blender.
As it had happened when he had tried forcing his arm through the spinning vortex in a last ditch effort to grab what was held within, but he was failed when his arm was almost immediately torn into by the vortex. he then felt his arm being shredded forcing him to it pull out looking down at what remained of his arm seeing it just hanging there unmoving, as the blood began pouring out as he know all the bones and muscle's in his arm had been shredded beyond repair and the arm would most likely have to be amputated all together.
He then heard breathing from behind him, and turned around to see who it was, he then stopped as he saw who was standing behind him, it was a woman with dark brown hair and blue eyes she had cuts and bruises all around her body and her clothing looked to have been torn and battered showing that she had been in battle, as soon as he saw her he saw red, as his eye's then landed on the one, that had caused all this as, she was the reason for the fall of his ones great empire that was thought to be untouchable by his enemies, she was also reason for the know lost of his right arm and with a burst of wind from beneath his feet he shot out towards her and with one hand he grabbed and held her by the throat, holding her as he began squeezing down on her throat. "ANNA" He roared out in anger and rage seeing her.
The woman now known as anna fell to her knees as she then grit his arm with both hands as her eyes began to water, anna tried to fight back but was unable to as she know that there was nothing she could to stop him as she had no magic left in her body to fight back with, as the last two spells had left her weakened vulnerable even after levelling hafe the castle on top of the dark king, she know that it wouldn't kill him but only slow him down, she could only hope that her last spell worked and that she had finished the incarceration before she had been blasted into the wall but more importantly she hoped that the many sacrifices that got her to this point weren't all in vein.
Anna's face slowly began turning red as she began struggling to breathe under the dark king grip around her throat and with the lack of oxygen anna's eyes slowly began to roll into the back of her head, seeing this the dark king then loosen his grip around her throat, but only just enough for her to breathe, anna filling the grip around her throat loosening began coughing as she began taking in deep breathes of air, her eyes then slowly opened as she then looked upon him, seeing the anger and rage in his eyes and seeing that she was still conscious the dark king then pulled her closer meeting his face before her asking her deep growl.
"Were did you send him, talk" His eyes then began glowing red, as anna after hearing that looked over to were the shuttle had been and seeing that it was gone she then smiled as a single tier of joy running down her face at knowing she did it and that lives of all her friends sacrifices together to this point weren't in vein as they had accomplished there mission and that her son would forever be safe, she then turned and looked the dark king dead in the eyes showing him no fear within them as she spoke.
"Somewhere...far...away...form...you" She choked out in a raspy voice, as she then smiled at seeing the anger and rage in his eyes, at knowing her son was safe and forever out of his reach and with nothing left for to fear of lose she then listened her grip around his arm holding them out to him as she embraced her soon to be death at his hands. "So...do...your...worst...monster...i'll...get...nothing...from...me" She spoke as she then spat in his face, angering the dark king even more as he then slowly began to squeeze back down on anna's throat.
"Then you will die" He said watching as anna's face then began to turning red her eye's watering as they then rolled into the back of her head, as anna's arm's then fell to her sides within anna's mind she began thinking back on her life and the people within her life as she began seeing the faces of her family and friend flash before her eyes before stopping on the face of a small infant within her arms her son her baby the one she and many gave there lived for. 'if i had only one regret living this world behind, it is that i'll never get to see grow, see you take your first steps, hear you first words, i just hope that the world i sent you to will except you, and i hope someone there can give you the love and happiness i couldn't, goodbye my baby boy' Anna then smiled. "I...love...you" Anna choked out as her body then fell limp, the dark king dropped anna's body letting it fall to the ground limp as he walked to the centre of the room he was in breathing heavily as his plans of immortality and becoming the god of this world all gone and all because of the woman that layed behind him, and filling his rage boiling he let out a roar of rage.
Meanwhile in another universe
(Location canterlot castle...)
A mare could be seen walking the halls of castle, as she made her way to her bedroom to tern in for the night, all the while stopping to say hello to any of the guards or maids that she would pass by, all of them bowing down to her in respect with her doing the same as she greeted all her little pony's, but to many of her subjects she was considered a goddess among them, and with a beauty that was unrivalled by most as she was a beautiful mare that appeared to be in her early thirties she had a pure white coat, purple eyes and had long flawing mane and tail that always looked to be flawing in an unknown breeze wherever she went, her hair and tail consisted of fore different coloured streak through out it that being blue, green, purple, and pink she also had a horn and a pair of giant wings that were slightly bigger then a normal Pegasus wings, witch made her an alicorn and upon her head sat a golden crown with a purple gem that sat in the canter of it, and with a matching necklace and two golden armbands to go with it, this was Celestia, Princess of Equestria and ruler of the sun.
Upon reaching the doors to her room, Celestia then Stopped just out side the doors to her room looking at the two guards who had been standing guard out side of the double doors to her room, Celestia then gave both of the guards a smile and a nod as she then stepped past them wishing them a good night as she did, upon entering and closing the doors to her room, Celestia then let out a long sigh of relief as she locked the doors behind her, Celestia then leaned her back against the doors to her room as she let out another sigh of relief.
"What a day, sweet faust nobles are quite a hand full." Celestia said rubbing her temples, as she was little angered at having spent the last three hours of night court listening to two nobles, arguing over paying shared property taxes stating that they shouldn't have to pay the amount owed to the land saying that it was unfair to them, thank faust if it wasn't for her friend and fellow Nobel iron-blood who decided to stay back and feel in for her young assistant raven inkwell who had already been working a double shift that day and seeing how exhausted she was, was given the the rest of the night off as well as a room in the castle to stay the night see that she was to tired to walk home, 'hmmm maybe i should give the mare a raise seeing that most of the nobles, are quite troublesome to deal with, yes i think she'll like that.' Celestia thought to herself with a smile that grow even bigger when she thought back to the rest of the night thanking iron-blood for staying back and helping her, as if it wasn't for iron-blood stepping in when he did, Celestia would have lost it at them two nobles.
As she couldn't help but let out a small charcoal as seeing the two nobles faces drop when Iron-blood with pages in hand then got up and preceded to point out a few flaws in there plans by pointing out the amount of tax they owe and the amount of det that would be owed if they didn't pay it, and buy the end of it, the two nobles saw that there was no winning and left the courtroom with there tails between there legs, and with that night court was officially close for the night Celestia and iron-blood then parted ways, Celestia just smiled at how he was able to show them nobles up and show they even they weren't above the law. 'may faust watch over his soul' Celestia thought before frowned little, 'I just hope that his son blue-blood has his fathers heart, but yet again, i wish i could say the something to many of the other nobles who for there ages ack like children' Celestia then slowly made her way towards the canter of her room, once there Celestia's then lit her horn up and with a flash of golden light Celestia body was then surrounded by it once the light died down, Celestia saw that instead of wearing the purple dress and golden yellow jacket she had been wearing before hand, she was now wearing something much more comfortable, as she was now wearing a light blue nightgown that sat abet tight against her body the gown also had no sleeves that know revealed an orange and yellow sun shaped cutie mark that sat on her right shoulder.
Filling much more comfortable and free to move around, celestia felt a lot more relaxed, celestia then preceded on removing her golden armbands and necklace, before removing her crown before teleporting them over to her bed side table, celestia then rolled her head and shoulder back and forth as she felt her cramps loosened as wearing all that gold really did a number on her shoulders and neck, but at least the day was finally over and the fact that tomorrow was going to be Sunday made her night even better, as day and night court were closed on Sundays, and the best part of it all was that she wouldn't have to deal with any of the nobles for a whole day.
Celestia then frowned at what tomorrow would also be, as it would be her sisters birthday, celestia then turned and made her way over to her rooms balcony, to were she had been standing for almost an hour now, gazing out at the night sky or more importantly the moon that had the image of the mare in the moon, celestia then began remembering the incident that happened almost a thousand years ago with great sadness in her heart.
"Oh Luna, how i failed you." Celestia said sadness within her voice, as she began thinking back to all those night's ago as if it were only yesterday, heating herself for being blind back then to seeing her sisters pain and sadness, blind to seeing her sister cry's for help as her subjects shunned her in favour of her, but what she heated more was herself for not seeing her pain that had slowly began turning into anger and hatred towards her and by the time she noticed the signs, she was already to late, her sister the one who she promised to protect was consumed by the darkness turning her into the nightmare.
"If there was only away, i could go back and undo everything I all those years ago i would." Celestia said looking down towards the ground. "But we both know i can't, even if i were use that spell to change the past it could doom are future" She said tearing up as she began remembering her sister's last words to her, the night before... before she banished her to the moon.
(Flashback)
"Sister throw need to carm down" Past Celestia said as she stood in front of her sister who was going on a tantrum over what one of there subject had said about her.
"NO SISTER, THROW SHALL NOT"
"sister throw are over reacting"
"IF THROW CAN'T SEE ARE PAIN, OR BELIEVE THE WORD OF ARE OWN BLOOD THEN OVER THE MANY LIES OF ARE SUBJECT'S THEN...THEN THROW WERE NEVER ARE SISTER" Past luna yelled tears within her blueish green eyes as she looked at the shocked face her sister before turning around and leaving, but not before hitting her were it heart. "THROW HATE YOU." Her sister screamed at her as she ran down the corridors her room leaving past Celestia standing there frozen as Those three words heart her more then any blade could ever do as she fell to her ness tears in her as she cryed.
(Flashback over)
By this point Celestia was on her ness like she had been many years ago, her arm wrapped around herself as she cried, wondering to herself that if she had only want after her that night instead of letting her go would thing have been different would she still be here along side her. "i'm so sorry" Celestia cried out looking away from her sister guilt and shame at what she had done to her. "I'm sorry Luna for not being there when you needed me, i'm sorry for being so blind to seeing your pain. I'm sorry for-."
Celestia was then cut off, when she then felt a wave of magic power overwhelm her, as she had never felt anything quite like it before in all her years, looking up at were she could sense the power coming from her eye's then widen in shock at the view she saw before her, as way up in the night sky she could see small cracks began to form, but before she could ponder any further on what was happening she then had to cover her ears as she then heard an ear ringing and loud boom across the sky almost like a lightning strike, she then watched as small cracks began to open up, until she saw what looked to be a rift in the fabrics of space and time.
Celestia then watched as the rift then began to change colours, at first it started of as black, before changing into blue, then a purple before a green before the colours then began to change rapidly before a burst of blinding white light shot out almost like a beam or light, Celestia then watched as something then come flying out from within the rift, as whatever it was then flu across and over her and the castle and just for a moment everything then went quiet before even a louder boom could be heard, indicating that whatever it was had crashed landed and from the direction it had crashed somewhere in or around the royal gardens, Celestia stood there her heart racing and her fur on end as she then looked back towards the rift were the thing had come bursting out from she then watched as the cracks within the rift slowly began to close in on it self, before disappearing all together living the night sky exactly how it had been just moments ago as if nothing had happened.
Celestia stood there frozen for a few minutes, her sadness long forgotten for the moment as she was lost in her own thoughts as to what she had just witness, as she then began wondering what that overwhelming power she felt was as it was able to rip a hole in the sky, something she thought impossible, Celestia know that this wasn't her sisters doing as she still had a few more years before the seal that had imprisoned her sister would break leading to her sisters inevitable return, Celestia was then startled from her thoughts when she then heard bagging on the doors to her room, snapping back to reality she then wiped her remaining tear stands away, Celestia then got up and made her towards the doors to her room, upon opening the door she was then face to face with the captain of the her royal guard he was a unicorn in his early-thirties with a greyish blue coat a dark phthalo blue mane and tail and was wearing a full set of blue colerd armor with gold trimming on the outside and in the center chess plate sat the simple of a crescent moon, upon seeing her he then bowed his head to her in respect before continuing.
"Were sorry to disturb you, your majesty at such a late hour but did you happen to see what just happened in the night sky"
"I did, i was on the balcony at the time when it happened, were anypony hurt during the incident, captain night-light" Celestia asked.
"No, none of night guards or maids in the castle were harmed and all have been counted for, but are abit shaken up." The one now known as night-light replied "And i've already dispatched a few guards into the city to help out in any way they can"
"That's good captain" Celestia said before sees that night-light looking away thinking about something. "Is there something on your mind captain"
"It's kinder heard to explain princess, it's best if you come with me and see for yourself" Captain night-light said Celestia nodding in understanding as she then stepped back into her room and with a flash of light the door then open revealing her to be wearing the same purple dress from before just with out the jacket as well as her golden igalia all except for her crown, closing the door behind her celestia and night-light then left, but as Celestia follow night-light she couldn't stop wonder to herself what had just happened moments ago as the power she felt was like nothing she ever felt before.
