Jeez, people! Doesn't anyone want to write some happy pony stories? It seems like every time I scan through the art thumbnails, all I see are crying ponies or crossovers.

So I was sitting at my desk today when inspiration struck and I banged out the outline of a story. I did this one differently. I wrote all the dialogue first, and now I'm going in and filling the detail in around it. I could just hear the interaction so clearly in my head that I needed to get the conversation out first.

So here's that reading of Diary of a Silent Tyrant.

It's interesting to hear what someone else does with your material. Over all, I liked this. Some of the line readings seemed a little strange to me, but the guy does a passable Discord, if somewhat underemoted.

It is one of my great pet peeves in acting when people sound like they are reading lines, rather than speaking. Certain parts of this reminded me of that.

So in news that is both awesome and bizarre, I received an email today requesting permission to do a live reading of Diary of a Silent Tyrant. It's apparently going to be up on YouTube.

That is very weird and kinda exciting! I'm very curious to see how it comes out. I hope whoever is reading it can do a good Discord.

Is anyone else having trouble with the spacing on this site?

When I look at my story in edit mode, all of the margins and indents line up nicely. Then when I go to look at them in the regular published screen, they are unaligned.

Anyone else struggling with this?

Man, I just watched that episode and I loved it! It's not quite "Party of One" but not far off. Very amusing.

I'm not so sure about the hidden book that Spike found. I didn't buy that one.

All I could think about in the test scene was the story here called Pinkie Watches Paint Dry!

I keep thinking I'm just about done with this new story and somehow I keep writing and writing.

I thought it was going to be embarrasingly short, but it's certainly not looking like that is going to happen. I didn't Pinkie's struggles with a kitchen could take so long.

Not that this is 20,000 words. It's currently about 5,000, but I was thinking it would be something like 3,000 and I still have a couple of antics left in mind.
