I swear that nothing makes me as irritated in writing as people that are obsessed with format.

I know I've hit on this before, but it just burns me up.

I submitted Diary of a Silent Tyrant to EquestriaDaily and it was sent back unread (by the prereaders. I guess there are pre-pre-readers) with the following strikes.

--Incorrect semicolon use.
--Extra spacing.
--Ellipses use.

This drives me bananas.

Hi, everyone.

I have a new story going up soon. It's awaiting moderation.

I decided to do something totally unlike what I would normally do. I sat down and wrote this all in one pass, then re-read it once to get rid of any obvious errors. It is done in diary form, so I wanted that fresh, just happened feeling, rather than a carefully crafted piece. When you write in your diary, it's immediate, and that is how I wanted to approach this.

A Door Jam just received its 100th like, which is about 95 more likes than I ever thought it would get. You guys are the best!

Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only person who doesn't like reading stories about shipping or crossovers. It's a real impediment to looking at fan fiction. It seems like every story has one or the other...or worse, both.

Shipping I can understand, though I'm not into. Crossovers are just weird to me. You have the whole open fantasy world of Equestria to run around in. What's the need to bring Link or Naruto or whatever into it.

Man, my latest story just got RIPPED APART by the reviewers on Ponychan. That is probably for the best, though. I like my story, and while some of their criticism is quite valid, quite a bit of it shows that they don't understand storytelling.

I mean, I got knocked because Fluttershy gave somepony a mischievous poke. Their response: Fluttershy is not mischievous!
