You know, those piece of crap fics with an intentionally stupid premise, that have little to no plot flow, and generally give the impression that they were written while high, drunk or both. The funny thing is, considering we actually had a direct influence on the scripting and characterization, the brony community is one of the most influential fandoms on the planet. You know the Wendigo in Hearth's Warming Eve? I decided to look them up the other day. Turns out they're one of the nastier spirits in Algonquin mythology. They're cannibalistic entities that embody winter and cold, and are the physical manifestations of greed and gluttony. Not only that, but a Wendigo was used in Stephen King's Pet Sematary, which as I recall gave me nightmares for about a week and a half after reading it.

So, I watched an episode of the X-Files this morning, and spent a few hours playing Amnesia: Justine, and finished a particularly creepy Stephen King novel. And I am now writing a creepy-as-buck grimdark psychological horror fic. Go figure. And of course I'm doing this while I should be studying for my chemistry final.

Sigh. In reality, it comes down to this. Quantum theory and orbital hybridization or ponies? Real no-brainer.
