Hinterland Seer

Just a simple story-teller, passing from one place to the next spreading whatever knowledge, wisdom, or pure entertainment that I can.

Just a short summary

Never really understood the appeal to committing my thoughts to page, at least not seriously until a couple of years ago. I'd tried my hand at story-telling a few times before, back when I was a wee lad, but gave up because I lacked the patience to actually write a cohesive story.

I've always had an overactive imagination; it's kept me up more nights than I can keep track of. But while I suffer because of it, I will happily take the exhaustion, if only for the raw force of what I can come up with. My earliest daydreams were simple, unrefined and lacking direction: One involved a group of downed air force pilots surviving on a hostile island in the middle of nowhere. Another was basically a Spyro fanfic, just put in the goddamn void.

So I count my blessings in the same hand as my curses, for art in all its forms has helped me through some of my lowest days, and probably helped bring some of said days around.

You're obviously here because of my writing, which is something that I doubt I'll ever really understand. I know I suck; I've not had the practice to become anything more than a novice author, but that won't stop me. The big project I've got going on in my head, which will continuously be in the works until MLP moves onto the next gen or dies, and when I've got something to work with, is what I've aptly named the "Guardian Project."

Guardian of the Sun is my passion project, a daydream I started working on way back in 2013, though I never started writing until about two years ago. Well, there was about two chapters worth of garbage a few years back, but we don't talk about them. GotS has recently gotten a bit of a touch-up, for the first five or so chapters. Two years of legitimate effort have shown some improvement, so I threw out thecringe in favor of a more cohesive story.

I'll try to keep a more consistent schedule for uploads, as I've got the material saved and waiting (Some of it), but I know the guy who sets my deadlines, and between the two of us; he's full of shit.
